Defend Our Borders

Kinney County is an agricultural community in southwest Texas located on the US/Mexico border. The international bridge in Del Rio, Tx is approximately 10 miles west from the border of Kinney County. Our county is being bombarded by hundreds of illegal aliens on a daily basis. Our local law enforcement is overwhelmed with illegal alien smuggling activity and high-speed pursuits along our highways and streets in the middle of town. Our homes are being broken into on any given hour, night or day. The main street of our small town is now the place of high-speed chases and school lockdowns. The local school district has been forced to erect vehicle barriers around the outside perimeter of the campus to prevent high speed car chases from injuring any children. The residents of Kinney County no longer feel safe within their own homes. Words cannot adequately describe the conditions on the ground and the vast number of illegal aliens that are flooding into our county. The continual violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Texas has resulted in thousands of illegal aliens invading Kinney County and overwhelming local governmental resources and law enforcement.

Kinney County has received a tremendous amount of support from Galveston County, Goliad County and the Texas Department of Public Safety. Despite their best efforts in preventing this invasion, the Mexican border remains open and unprotected. As of October of 2021, Kinney County has arrested over 1,000 illegal aliens for criminal trespassing. Even with this large number of arrests, local law enforcement estimates that we are stopping less than 5% of the total number of people invading our county and spreading throughout the state. This crisis has surpassed that of merely a law enforcement matter and is now a direct threat to the national security of our nation.

Kinney County officials have utilized all available resources in an effort to protect our residents and defend our border, but we are simply no match for the money and manpower of the cartels that control both sides of the Mexican border. More details about our effort to secure our border can be found under the “Our Efforts” tab at the top of the screen.

“Gotaways” are illegal aliens who have been seen by Border Patrol, but escaped capture.  These illegals do not present themselves to Border Patrol due to their criminal histories.

A commonality on ranches — a rancher’s camera captures illegal aliens that have avoided being seen by Border Patrol.  Illegal aliens who are not seen are not counted in statistics.
